As the world struggles to overcome the virus known as COVID 19 we pray for all those affected by this terrible disease. We especially pray for those who have lost loved-ones and those who are struggling against the effects of the disease.
The county in which Lakeview Church is located is on a stay-at-home order for the current time period, so we will not be meeting at Lakeview until further notice.
We, like so many churches are doing all we can to stay connected to one another and to our world. We will be sharing worship experiences on our web page for you to enjoy as you are able. We look forward to being together again as a body of believers, but we also rest in the assurance that, even when it seems like nothing is happening, with God, something is always happening.
The church is not a building, it is the people of God, called by His name, called from the world and its idols, called into fellowship with one another and with His Holy Spirit, and called back into the world in ministry and service to others.
For now, however, it seems that we are being called to rest, to spend time in His Word, time with our families and loved ones and time in prayer. Let us embrace this time and allow God to use it to fulfill His purpose in our lives. We will be together again hopefully someday soon. And that will be a glorious reunion. Until, with joy, we carry on.
